Validated against gemini-2.5-flash at save time. Stored encrypted with the hub master key (AES-256-GCM via HKDF from PAIRWAVE_AUTH_SECRET).

Set a per-session estimated-cost ceiling. Token-usage cards and the weekly report colour-code spend against it — a nudge at 80%, a red flag at or above.
