# PairWave > PairWave is a shared browser workspace for Claude Code. Sessions run on your own machines through the Relay desktop app while your team watches them live, approves tool calls, reviews Claude's edits and runs parallel agents. $15 per seat per month, billed per team, with a 7-day trial and no card required. PairWave does not run Claude Code in the cloud and never holds your Anthropic API key. Each machine runs the Relay desktop app, is paired once with a short code, and dials out to the PairWave hub with its own per-machine token. Claude usage stays on your own Claude plan. ## What it does - Shared live sessions: teammates see the same Claude Code transcript in real time, with per-session roles (viewer, reviewer, driver, approver) and team-only chat with @mentions. - Approvals: gated tool calls and Claude's plan-mode plans can be approved from the browser. Approvers can add per-session "always allow" rules. - Live controls: switch permission mode (ask before edits, accept edits, plan mode, auto), model and thinking level, run slash commands and stop Claude from the browser. A working indicator shows the current step and elapsed time. - Parallel runs: start one task on 2 to 5 Claude Code sessions, each in its own git worktree with its own model and thinking level, then compare them. A machine runs one session per folder; a second session on the same repo can start in its own worktree. - Resume conversations: Relay lists recent Claude Code conversations on each machine, including ones started in a terminal or the Claude desktop app. Resume one into PairWave with its earlier history, or resume a session that stopped in place. - Review: the Changes tab shows diffs built from Claude's own edits. Line comments go back to Claude as one prompt; Commit, Push and Open PR ask Claude to run git, which still goes through Claude Code's permission prompts. - Checkpoints, a PR and CI panel, and CI auto-fix: failing checks on the linked PR are sent to Claude automatically, once per commit, at most 3 attempts. - Scheduled prompts (once, hourly or daily), a prompt queue, review requests and handoff between teammates. - Real Claude plan limits: Relay reports 5-hour and weekly plan usage and context-window use. Team admins see each member's plan usage. Without Relay, PairWave shows estimated spend. - Start work from a GitHub, Linear or Jira issue. - Command palette (Cmd+K), full-text transcript search, an installable web app for desktop and phone, and push notifications for approvals, plans, replies and mentions. - Light, dark or system theme, chosen per browser. - Relay updates itself: it checks for new versions and updates from its menu (or `relay update` on Linux) without pairing again. - Writeups, a lessons library, private weekly reports and logged owner access. ## Sign-in GitHub, Google or an email magic link. Each verifies an email, and the same email always reaches the same account. ## Links - [Home](https://pairwave.app/): product overview, FAQ and pricing - [Live demo](https://pairwave.app/demo): a seeded workspace you can click through without signing in - [Sign in](https://pairwave.app/login)
